There once was a company called Texas Power & Light. It went through a series of mergers and ownership changes beginning back in 1984. Many of the employees who actually worked for this company are now retired (including my husband). The company logo no longer exists. I had the logo digitized from a picture and am now able to recreate it in any color. These employees loved this company and now they can get a new hat with the original logo. It made me think that there are probably lots of other retirees out there from companies that have changed names over the years. Anyway, it's been fun creating a fond memory for some of those retired employees. Thinking about embroidering some shirts next.
